Well situated. The rooms are small (double) and although there was double occupancy there was only one towel. The Premier Inn is across the road with larger rooms, which is slightly more expensive. The hotel was reasonable and quiet for where it was situated.

Loved the jacuzzi the view of the river and he best breakfast a man could wish for. Really great service though out my stay and couldn’t wish for more! Made my trip to the southwest more pleasurable! Staying in a clean and affordable hotel I couldn’t ask for more

I can not recommend this very basic hotel... especially if you are driving. Parking is only available at the overpriced leisure centre opposite. You also need to phone them to even get in through the front door. Avoid unless you have no other options.

Lovely Irish Lady on reception,, But also needs a Irish Cage Fighter to chuck the noisy bast#?ds that were arguing and shouting and banging doors from 10:30pm until 3:15am ( when I left) outside in the rain to cool them off! Apparently they were going on until 5am! Only £2 cheaper than Premier Inn just across the street, where I stayed a couple of weeks earlier,, only thing that made me choose the cheaper option this time was because of the bath in the en-suite! Never again!

Absolutely awful hotel.. one towel on the bed for a double room and when we asked for another he wasn’t very happy …. No hand towels NO WARDROBE…!! Just hooks on the wall Because it was warm we left the window open … and a man tried coming on through it , when challenged he made a story up about hearing a badger rustling in the recycling….????? Stayed two days and no cleaner The worst place we’ve ever stayed Room 105 we stayed in and it backs in to the restaurant across and cooking smells weren’t welcome Plus the foyer smells of curry

The front of house staff was very welcoming and advised on everything that I asked The hotel was fine for what I needed, the only complaint was being woken up in the early hours due to the opening and closing of doors. My room had lights from the flats behind the hotel and shine into the room as they seem to permanently on. Location is fantastic

My single room was very small, with no space for a wardrobe, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and it had everything you need, including hairdrier, coffee/tea-making facilities, little biscuits and even a complimentary bottle of water. Because it was a small room, it faced a small unglamorous parking space, which meant it was wonderfully quiet! Yes, the furniture was a bit tired and there was a spot of mould in a corner of the bathroom ceiling, but the water was really hot and the pressure great. You cannot expect luxury at these prices but I thought my room was great value for what I paid. Also, it is in a brilliant location, 5 minutes from the London coach terminus and local buses stop and close to restaurants, the cinema and the town centre.

The hotel was basic but clean. However, the bed was so soft and sagged so badly that we left after one night of a planned two night stay. We were offered no refund, either by the hotel or by Booking.com.

Room stank of smoke. Cigarette filters on floor unused. Loud drilling noises and banging up till 9pm. Bathroom didn’t seem clean at all. Walls stained. Couldn’t get into reception as my key didn’t work. Had to walk through 2 buildings and out to get to my room. Window wall was so mouldy had big holes. No parking available but no information on recommendation of places to park.

The room was fine we were very apprehensive. Mollified by room clean and simple you get what you pay for. Given key for front door I don’t know why they bothered the2 other doors were left open all night no night receptionist to keep people out we were awoken on 3 occasions up to 4 am of people trying to break into the room. Management lock the place down and review would have been good clean but simple. I frankly felt unsafe and was on verge of calling the police if I could have got back into my car I would have
