"Peaceful getaway in the country"

Just returned from a lovely 3-night stay in the shepherd’s hut with my little boy, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hut had absolutely everything we needed for some quiet, quality time together – cosy, comfortable, and so peaceful. One of the real highlights for my son was the animals on-site – he loved visiting them each day, and it added a really special touch to the stay. Carol and Don were fantastic hosts – warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. You can really tell they’ve put a lot of thought and care into making the place feel special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to slow down, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside magic. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely everything! Location was fantastic, hosts were super nice, hut was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. Was absolutely stunning when walking around. Perfect is all we can say. Can not wait to return !

The cabin/hut is so cute. Very clean. Great having under floor heating, especially this time of the year. Really good having cooler and microwave. Lovely to see the animals in the field right next to us while we were having breakfast.

The bed was pretty small. It’s a double so very compact for mother and daughter staying but I guess it’ll be fine for a couple.
