Close to the beach....

Shared room... dirty moldy room..didn't think some would be laying in my bed when walked in.. no towels...filthy bathroom...

Bonnie was really attentive and she was kind, knowledgeable and was great company. Bonnie was discerning and attentive to the needs of everyone and when there was a situation with the property she had it addressed immediately and did what she could to make it right, not excuses or inconvenience! The bed I got was very comfortable and the environment was quiet and conducive to sleep and recharging. I ended up spending 3 nights more nights and I'd definitely bunk there again 😊

The things I didn't like had more to do with the property and rain and nothing that Bposhtel or Bonnie has control over.

Came here for a work trip with the goal of saving money. I don’t regret it. Bonnie was a great host at this hostel, couldn’t have asked for a better host. She gave me advice on when was the least busy time at the beach, told me about things to do, etc…The location and view was amazing. Other guests in the hostel were pretty chill. Had the gym to myself as well which was nice. Collected some cool sea shells on the beach too. Perfect for a solo traveler who just needs a place to sleep, for cheap.

Just to set your expectations, the mattresses are very thin, and they’re on bunk beds, but I still slept good honestly, and I have witnessed these beds supporting people of all sizes, in all sorts of positions. The hotel itself is honestly on the older side & a bit rundown, but if you’re trying to save money I think it could be a good option for you. Just don’t bring special guests or substances into the room, don’t argue with the host, and you should be fine at this hostel. 99% of the people that come here are cool. But keep in mind this isn’t a place where you spend half the day in the room, more of a place to sleep, maybe eat a bit, do your business, and get on with your day exploring the city, so don’t spend your whole day in the room... Also if your key card isn’t working you need to put it in and take it out fast, then pull the handle up, and push open, lol. There are other sacrifices to be made when your primary goal is saving money, but if you’re tight on cash then this is definitely an option. For me, I am going through a tough time in life, very tight on cash, and this was my only option.

What a great stay in an untraditional but totally convenient hotel! It was a solo trip and honestly the perfect remedy for traveling alone!
