St Margaret's 2-Bed Chalet - Sleeps 4 & Pets ok

Logement très bien situé, dans un village agréable, avec commerces et pub à proximité. Le stationnement est facile. La cuisine est bien équipée (vaisselle, et électroménager).

Contrairement à ce qui est indiqué, la superficie n'est pas de 75m², mais plutôt de l'ordre de 35/40m² (le cottage est en réalité divisé en deux logements mitoyens). Donc un espace assez restreint, peu de rangement, et de très petites chambres. Une des fenêtres de la chambre laisse passer de l'air (ce n'était pas grave vu la température cet été, mais qui peut être gênant en hiver) Le système de douche est à revoir (très faible pression, support cassé, évacuation insuffisante). Les matelas étaient très mous, avec un sommier fragile, donc pas très confortable. La connexion internet était très poussive (télé sur la connexion, donc difficile de surfer tout en regardant la télé). Très peu d'intimité: les cottages sont regroupés autour d'un espace vert, avec la petite terrasse qui donne directement sur cet espace.

Neat, tidy and well kept, bottle of wine and crisps on arrival which was nice.

Dusty behind the cabinets when locating plug sockets for hair dryer. Strict checkout at 10. We were running 10 mins late but did not expect to be rushed out.

Near to the best places where we want to see. Dog friendly.

It's a fantastic property but maybe change the bed mattress into a better one to feel more comfortable at night.

Nice place and quiet , restaurant, swiming pool are Nice (even if à bit old) The appartement is in good condition, the fournitures (beds and sofa) are not that comfortable Heating system is a bit noisy. Nethertheless i would recommend.

WiFi was terrible. Didn’t use the facilities.

Accommodation was great,clean and comfy and everything you need. we were close to pool and shop. Site was small and relatively quiet which we liked

The only negative was the Internet a bit slow when we tried watching a film in the evening

Accommodation was lovely & easy to find, we managed to park nearby on the complex. It was clean, tidy & had everything we needed. It is well located & only a few miles from the White cliffs of Dover, Dover Castle, Ferry terminals etc. There is a lovely pub in the village called The Smugglers where the food is lovely so a must visit. A little welcome pack with a few bits about the area, whats on site etc would of been nice & could of done with some instructions for the Induction hob but we sussed it in the end. Plenty of utensils, pan, plates etc to use. There is a large TV with NETFLIX, PRIME etc you can you can access with your own personal log in. There are towels for the shower and a tea towel supplied. Make sure you take teabags, coffee etc although there is a little corner shop with all of this available in the village.

Only downside for me was the master bedroom mattress :( it was very uncomfortable & i barely got any sleep. my back was killing me laying on it so i ended up on the sofa a few times. My husband found it uncomfortable to. Maybe a topper or something would help but it is very soft! Also the shower wasn't 100%. It was either very hot or lukewarm, i couldn't seem to find where the temperature was stable. it also isn't very powerful so washing long hair was difficult as it trickled out.
