Lovely 2- bed holiday chalet perfect getaway 5 wa

Where do I start.. I was aware, linen and towels were not provided, so we brought our own and used the linen on beds at the property. As requested the deposit of £50 was paid in advance, it is meant to be returned within 24 hours of check out, we are still waiting for it to be returned. On day of arrival, we understood the check in time was after 3pm. On the check in day I had been advised to contact them half an hour before arriving to the property, unfortunately we couldn’t reach by this time, the care taker called telling we have to check in by 6:00pm or she is leaving. She was very rude on the phone, expressing that she works 365 days of the year, I advised her to speak with her employer as that’s not my domain, we weren’t aware of this cut off for check in. I then contacted the person who owns the property, I was told that the carer will message me the key safe number, which never happened.. We arrived at the site just after 7pm, trying to locate the property being told that the property name as ‘Lovely 2’, which my mind mind meant L2, as they ate listed in alphabetical and numerical order, this was not the case. We spent about 20 minutes driving around with 2 kids in the car, phoning repeatedly both the cater and owner, without success. Career messaged after about 20 minutes (which felt deliberate!) to provide the cabin number which was not relevant to L2, as we logically thought. On entering the property it was in pleasant condition, we made our beds and got the evening meal into the oven for children before sleep, only fir the electric to run out. This the first time we realised it was a prepaid coin metre, for which we had no change! I luckily find the bar on site and they kindly gave cash back and coins for the metre. I would avoid this property in future & won’t recommend to anyone. I would recommend Booking.com should remove it from their website.

The decking area was great , and there was a lovely lawned space outside the chalet . The beds were very comfortable . Shower worked great .

The total experience is what we wanted, lovely quiet place to stay. Easy access to the beach. Fantastic little site away from the centre of the town. Host was amazing and was exceptionally helpful, would recommend again.

Good location for visiting relatives in Mablethorpe. Close to beach & town centre. Property was clean & had all the things you need for a few days away. Shower was nice & hot.

Could do with enough seats for all family to sit in living area. We used one of the dining chairs so that we could all sit down.

It was a fab 1 night stay, location was great and a cosy chalet, although there was a last minute change to the chalet...but fab all the same

Feeding the electricity meter. Personally I would heave preferred to pay more for the chalet & have it inclusive of power.
