Lovely 2- bed holiday chalet perfect getaway 5 wa

The mattress! Sooo comfortable. We had a remarkable reception from the lovely Michelle who was just as lovely the next day. Even the park owner came to greet us. They were always at the end of the telephone for anything we needed. Very nice chalet.

Its in a good location away from the busy town also the beach was 5 minutes down the road for the dogs, it had everything you needed

The double bed was awful had a rubbish nights sleep & we both had a bad back the next day We wasn’t told about the £50 refundable deposit in case of damage until the day before we came so we had to find another £50 as well as the £85 we had already paid for the night and also £10 per dog we had 3 so for the night made it quite expensive

The location was good, the chalet was small but neat and had almost everything needed.

There was no sink in the toilet area, there was room to add one. Washing your hands and cleaning teeth in the kitchen sink was just not right

Easy parking. Good space.

Bed was so uncomfortable and impossible to sleep on. Ended up on the bunk bed. Shower drain was smelly.

Chalet was bearable, location is great, not far from the beach and shops. However, the hosts were a different matter. Just a couple of days before we are due to go we are told we have to pay a £50 deposit which left us having to find the money as we had not budgeted for that and we had paid the amount for our 1 night stay in full. No mention anywhere what so ever on the listing regarding paying a deposit on arrival. However we got the money together and paid it. Also no mention we would need our own towels and bedding and have to put money in a meter for electric. Unfortunately whilst we were out the key for the chalet must have fallen out of my handbag whilst taking something out of it and I didn't realise until we arrived back at the chalet so we went straight back to where we had been and re traced our steps but to no avail.  This was around 7:30pm. I called the woman who checked us in who we later find out is his cleaner 5 times and sent messages but no answer. She had previously told us the owner was away but we had no choice but to try contact him as well. Before we did we tried asking at the on site bar/restaurant if there was anything we could do or someone to contact with the reception office being closed. They told us there should be an emergency contact number on the door there but there was nothing. We went back to speak to them again and one of the staff members went to double check in case I had not seen it. She came back and told us it was there not long ago but has since been taken down. So we got in contact with the owner who at first sent us a code to the key safe outside the chalet door but no spare key was in there. This is now over an hour since we first tried calling his cleaner. I called him to see what could be done and the only solution was for us to drive and try to find his cleaners chalet ourselves after he vaguely told us where to find it and to look for her red 18 plate car.

Spotlessly clean, warm welcome from caring host. Chose to have bedding which was fresh , clean and made it so easy. Our dog loved the wrap around deck8ng!Chalet was cleaner and fresher than many 5* hotwl rooms I have stayed in on business over the years. A beauriful chalet and stay made perfect by wonderful caring hosts. Will definately be back many times in the future. We cannot recommend this property highly enough! Thankyou Dave and Michelle for allowing us to share this wondwrful chalet. Came home relaxed and refreshed. Perfect! AAA*
