Eklo Hotels Paris Porte de Versailles

Cher pour l'ensemble. Bien situé quand on doit aller porte de versailles. Un store cassé, une télé qui ne fonctionne pas, un petit dej moyen. Ensemble convenable mais on s'attend a mieux pour le prix.

Overall we had a good stay however this hotel wasn't the most family friendly and the service was hit or miss. The night we checked in there was a young individual behind the counter. He was very energetic and did what he could to make our checkin and stay enjoyable. The shared microwave and fridge in the lobby was not working and he helped us find alternatives. Other nights there were other individuals who looked like they could barely keep their eyes open and were completely apathetic to our situation. Honestly if you're going to stay here its probably because you have a conference near by. The room had a cool set up with bunk beds for our kids and the service staff in the breakfast and lounge are were really amazing. Outside of that overall mediocre stay.

Waitress at the restaurant does not know the difference between a region and a grape when I was asking for a Pinot Noir - which is ok for this type of hotel. What is not ok is that she was extremly rude. Location is suboptimal. Hairdryer was missing in room, sink was broken. It was not a nice experience. The bed was comfortable and clean sheets, the bathroom was not so clean.

I ordered the room in October because I needed to make sure we got the best room with space and view and a nice “box” in the window to sit in to watch the view. Like the pictures on their OWN website is showing. The room was a Christmas gift for the children and they got the picture of the room in the presents at Christmas. My son is autistic and also need to be prepared- I wrote a email to them about this. I actually also wrote an ekstra email to make sure I ordered the right room. I did! In the family we just had been through some awful time with cancer in the family and we needed something to look forward to. I also really put a side for this hotel and view. It was important for me! When we got to the hotel - they first say that the room doesn’t exit and then they admit that they have given it to some other guests. I can have the room for one day when they other people leave (for free he says) for free???? I paid for that room! I still got charged for the most expensive room they have - but got a room that’s not what I paid for! It’s cold room with a small window we can stand up and look out. It’s not what I paid for! This room is even cheaper on the website! They say there’s nothing they can do. Don’t come here.. I would give the zero stars if I could! Let’s agree on it’s not the room on the picture.

I enjoyed my stay at EKLO Paris Porte de Versailles. It was clean and convenient to Paris Expo. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. There was a minor issue of access to potable water in the room

The EKLO advertises a grocery at the hotel: I asked to buy bottled water at the reception two days in a row. Was told they were out both times. I should go to the bar. The bar said they didn’t sell water to take away, I should go to the reception. I told the reception that the bar doesn’t sell water to take away. Reception said that’s good to know and I could drink water from the faucet in my bathroom. However, no cup is in the room. The reception pointed to the empty refrigerator behind him and said „look,it’s empty.“ An empty refrigerator for two days was apparently no call to action for him or anyone else to go to a market and buy some bottled water, fill the refrigerator, and sell the water at a profit. Having to go to a local market outside the hotel for some basic extras is unacceptable. The French Kiss advertises it is open until 22:30. I went at 21:45 to get a beer for my room. They told me it wasn’t possible to get a beer because they were closed. I found the reply rude and unhelpful. I found this strange because no hotel bar closes at 21:45. I went back to my room to check the posted opening time on my phone and confirmed the closing time is 22:30. I went back to the bar and had a lively discussion about the opening times with a female bartender and she said there was absolutely nothing she could do, the bar was closed. Luckily a manager came over and agreed to sell me a beer to go. Problem solved and apparently it was indeed possible. Conclusion: the hotel is itself okay but I have never stayed at a hotel where the staff all contributed to a horrible experience. Train them better and if that doesn’t work fire them. They have no talent for customer service. If you are a business traveler like me avoid.

This hotel is an ecohotel. Perfectly ok. Sober room but clean and good bed with nice bathroom (shower-toilet). At the reception everybody was very helpful and there was also an online follow-up. One thing to be improved is the breakfast service. I was there for 4 nights. Parts of the breakfast buffet were moving around to other places, not the same set-up everyday so you have to look around again. On my last day I needed an early breakfast because of early mornibg departure flight. Breakfast is available at Eklo on weekdays from 6 am. However when I arrived not much was ready yet. No bread, no coffee. no cheese, ham, ... Took 15 or 20 minutes to get the breakfast buffet completed. So not really on time which limited also my choices for breakfast.

This is one of the worst hotel in Paris. I stayed for business trip. I would not recommend to stay here.
