condostmaarten by the sea -Adults Only-

We loved our condo, was great with beautiful views. Charles the concierge was super nice and gave us many recommendations . Easy access by car to all places on the island and great grocery store 5 minutes away. Only regret was that our stay was too short.

The condo was on a very nice, quiet beach with perfect, turquoise water. The steps down to the beach were steep but no problem for us. The bed was excellent, kitchen was adequate, with fridge, coffee makers, stovetop and microwave. The terrace was fantastic, with glass walls we could see through and see the beach. It had lounge chairs and a hanging chair that I loved. The host contacted me soon after we made the reservation and was available by telephone for questions and for our arrival. There was a nice swimming pool that overlooked the sea and shaded area to sit in lounge chairs. The condo was on Indigo Bay, which is about a 10 minute drive to the town of Philipsburg and about 10 minutes the other direction to the airport. Google Maps didn't give us entirely correct directions, but we found the place without much trouble. We could have called the concierge, Charles, as he was very helpful, but my friend recognized the building from photos so we found Marina Terrace without help. There was snorkeling equipment we could use and nice big beach towels in addition to bath and hand towels.

The bath robes were some kind of thin polyester and the tag scratched my neck, so I just didn't use the robe. No big deal, really. They also provided disposable bedroom slippers, which were nice. I wished the kitchen had had salt and pepper, and paper towels, but we just bought some, so that was also not a big problem. Overall the positives outweighed any negatives, and the condo was very comfortable.

Appartment was as described, clean, spacious (!) and beautiful view. Loved the pool and the window in the shower! Charles, the concierge, is the finishing touch and for me the ultimate reason why this appartment stands out compared to similar accomodations. He really makes sure that you feel at home and tends to your well being. Especially when travelling alone, it is good to have somebody to fall back on, giving you tips on what to do/where to go where you otherwise would never had thought off.

You need a car or taxi to get to a restaurant or bar.

This place was absolutely beautiful! The view was stunning and everything was perfect. We could not have asked for anything more. The pictures of the property are spot on. Very clean, super modern and just a beautiful accommodation. The host was very accommodating and very easy to work with. The pool area is beautiful and we mostly had it all to ourselves when we did use it. Highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.

We loved every moment, as soon as we entered the apartment we said 'wow'. Beautiful views, amazing views to wake up to each morning, also the views from the shower, the balcony. It was heaven. My partner and I felt very safe and relaxed here.
