Saints Holiday Apartments

Great location, excellent internet, which was important for my stay. The owners were also very quick in responding to my messages.

Very clean and close to town. Debbie and Paul were very friendly. They provided everything you could possibly need in the apartment but I couldn't find the dust pan and brush. Excellent WiFi reception and free airport pickup and drop off. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Everything was there. Nothing missed.

The hosts provided the basics like tea, coffee & sugar and a few extras such salt & pepper, dishwash liquid which was appreciated. The guest laundry facilities were also good. The wifi was excellent! This was great as it was needed as it basically ran the TV via streaming (the local TV station was not tuned into the TV). The hosts were not present during our stay but were excellent at communicating with us. And helped out with car hire when we realised that it would be needed. Relatively close to some shops (eg. supermarket) and a couple of eating places like the bowling club.

The unit was a bit tired and needed a bit of maintenance/updating eg. the kitchen curtains would come off the tracks every time you opened them (until we fixed them), only 1 of 3 lights over the sink had a globe that worked, the fridge only had one shelf and the freezer didn't freeze anything. These were annoyances and relatively minor, but could have been easily addressed. Also the bathroom was not as clean as we are used to (notably the shower) and the kitchen rangehood looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We got caught out in that tour operators wouldn't pick up from these apartments (despite the location being listed). Yet on one tour we went to at least one place that was somewhat closer to town than ours! This is not a criticism related to the Saints apartments per se, but you need to be aware you will have to walk into town to the tour office for booked tours which was unexpected as we hadn't arranged a car thinking we'd get picked up! (one tour operator was very unhelpful helpful in this regard despite accepting a pick of the apartment).

The owner was rude. No soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. You have to provide it. No simcard provided contrary to their ads. Towels were a bit old. The bed was clean though.

The location was great. Super close to the shops, supermarket and cafes. The bed was very comfortable, the shower pressure amazing and the WiFi, perfect. One of the owners met us at the airport and took us to the property and we were allowed to have a late check out on the day we left. I have zero complaints. Very happy with my staying.

Small block of 4 older style units - we stayed in the 2bedroom apartment and liked that the bedrooms weren't side by side, lounge area separated them. The bedrooms had plenty of hanging space and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils that you'll need, even a picnic basket !! There is an on-site shared laundry (didn't use). Pedal stool fans kept us cool and a 5min walk to the main street. Hosts aren't on site but were very easy to contact if you need anything.
