Villa Neshama

Overall: Amazing host and friendly staff, cleaning every day, beautiful territory, very quite and calm. Room: spacious, comfortable bed and pillows, canopy which protects from mosquitoes, big fridge. There is a table which is big enough for the laptop, and what was important for me - a safe which is big enough to put Macbook pro 16'. We were worrying about insects, especially spiders. But we met just ants (you should be ready for this). Maybe there are no spiders because there are a lot of geckos and those little cuties protect from spiders. Territory: clean swimming pool, sound of river, zero sound from cars, a lot of plants. Also there are cute friendly animals who became our friends: Belka dog, Tortik cat, and two ducks Momo and Mimi. There is also a place for sports with boxing gloves, punching bag, and a place for yoga with gong. The host invited a professional master of sound who managed a meditation session with the gong and a lot of other unusual music instruments. That was an interesting experience. Comfortable parking for bikes. Also while we were here they completed the new kitchen and now we have breakfasts every day. Which is a time-saver for us so that we can eat and go exploring the island.

Parking area is not big enough to park few cars simultaneously. However there is an area in 20 meters where I was parking the car.

Their staff is pleasant and willing to assist. The place is quiet and attractive and clean, other than the ants. But, the ants only seem to be in my room, #6. Given Nashema is tucked into a cul-de-sac, there were trees all around and plenty of birds to see. It has a nice big pool and they provide a big towel for swimming and nice lounge chairs. It is around the corner from a nice restaurant, La Torre, but the staff didn't know about it. It has some vegan, veggie and mixed other cuisines on the menu.

They list themselves as being in Canggu. They are at least an hour from Canggu Beach and 45 minutes from real Canggu bars and restaurants if the traffic isn't bad. So, I was very disappointed with that, as were several others that stayed there. I had problems with ants in my room the entire time, even having some crawl across my body while I was sleeping. They did respond and got ant hotels and they do spray, but I had dead ants in my sink and shower and around the floor of my room. Other guests had no ants in their rooms. I didn't like that there are no washcloths, so I couldn't clean my back very well. I understand this may be the norm now. I don't like that there were no TVs in each room.

Poor drainage in bathroom, lots of ants around the property. Location is okay if you have a bike otherwise avoid.

Loved my time at Villa Neshama. It’s off the beaten track so it’s incredibly peaceful. The koi pond and collection of animals wandering about make for a really tranquil experience. Staff are very friendly and helpful, always with a smile and a hello. The owner Maria is so attentive and willing to go above and beyond. I’ve never experienced so many smiles as I did from the team here. Would 100% recommend Villa Neshama, especially if you want be away from the hustle and bustle. Thanks Maria, I had a wonderful time. Nice view, quite peaceful

Location is quite remote, not in the central area

Beautyful room wit lots of windows - so plenty of daylight. The cillout area at the pool is awesome. A lovely cat and a dog will take care of you. Day and night 😚 the ground also has its own security, but who needs a security with momo the duck 😂 he guards you everywhere. We could relax great there.

Not really an odd but during our stay the kitchen was build from new so we couldn't use it. But really sure soon they will finish it.

we had an amazing stay at villa neshama! lots of comfortable places to relax; sun beds, big covered daybed, couches and swinging chairs. we loved the big work out area with yoga mats and blocks. lovely large cold pool and the staff were all so friendly!
