M Resort & Spa

If you want to experience the beauty of Efate, M Resort is the perfect location. Set on a pristine coral reef, this really is the best of Vanuatu. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the coral, travelling around with James, reclining on the deck and the fabulous local cuisine, that could rival any Melbourne restaurant. David and the team were so accommodating and full of excellent advice. We wish them all the best in the years ahead. It was just sad that we had to go back to the gloom of Victoria.

Just amazing location - absolute beach front with great swimming, kayaking and SUPing. Beautiful resort staff. So peaceful with great access to activities.

Breakfast was delicious and very generous portions. Very comfortable bed.

Hot shower water was excellent for 3 out of the 4 nights- which was all fixed promptly.

Beautiful beach views day and evening with incredible sunsets and easy access to snorkelling on a UNESCO protected reef. Wonderful self contained accommodation with the option to enjoy meals and drinks in an open air shared dining space. Menu specials changed daily in relation to locally sourced produce. Attentive staff and excellent hosts Steve and Dave who made our stay incredibly special with their bubbly personalities and willingness to assist with any and all aspects of our holiday stay.

The location, the facilities & the staff were exceptional. The food at the restaurant was faultless. There was everything you need, without being a big impersonal resort. There was even a fire pit with marshmallows for toasting & the sunsets were spectacular. We snorkeled & used the kayaks and paddle boards. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful spot with great snorkeling metres from your cabin, amazing food prepared by the local team, walks, kayaks, local village life, options to explore other islands by boat and driving distance to local beauty spots. New resort that's off to a strong start and more developments and amenities planned through sustainable collaboration with the local community. Super relaxing 😌

We had a great time with M resort. The location is excellent, directly facing the beach, We could watch the stunningly beautiful sunset every evening from our balcony, or while sipping a cocktail on the beach. The villa is clean and modern. Staff are friendly, especially David is very knowledgeable, warm and friendly, he gave a good introduction of the area and helped to organise some extra tours to visit the island attractions. We specifically enjoyed the fact that we could snorkel right from our beach which is a sanctuary reserve with colorful corals and tropical fishes. The stay was relaxing and peaceful. A great place to stay if you like to be in a pristine environment away from the crowds.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The gluten feee menu was exceptional. Everything at this resort is 5 star!

If I had to pick something it would be the villas being too close together as we could here neighbours TV and occasionally conversations

Gorgeous, comfortably furnished villas built to optimise views of the reef, the dreamy location with snorkelling steps from your balcony, a menu with innovative local produce as well as standard favourites in food and drinks, and friendly staff keen to make sure my holiday was fabulous all made this a special stay. I was truly sad to leave.

There is nothing not to like. My one small suggestion would be a hat/towel stand in each villa.

We spent one night there. Everything was great, I will mention especially the kindness and quality of service of all the staff and the location which is very beautiful and very peaceful. I will definitevely come back there
