Château Léognan, Domaine viticole - proche Bordeaux

Characterful chateau which shows great promise. It’s in a redevelopment phase so hopefully will improve. The restaurant served nice food but was unavailable for the last night which was a pity as not really any other dining options in the immediate locality. Staff were friendly and keen to hear feedback which again, is promising.

It’s run down, window boxes full of dead plants and grounds in dire need of replanting. Floors incredibly creaky in the chateau, impossible not to hear people on other floors. No bar as such and lounges were not very relaxing or comfortable.

Amazing place, relaxing with a friendly staff. Also the restaurant worth the journey.

Nice walking around grounds. Didn't do a wine tasting, but looked good.
