Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bronx - Zoo Area by IHG

I would like for the staff to be more genuine and people oriented.

I traveled from out of town to see family for the Holiday and work. Loved my stay here. Yaya and the staff were great! The Rooms were clean and peaceful. I was able to come in unwind and relax after a long day. Gem in the boogie down. Thanks again!

The hotel is in excellent condition, however, the area not so good, no parking is a big concern.

Has been 2 weeks since I stayed there. And haven’t received my deposit back. My credit card told me try to contact the hotel, and they don’t answer, just transfer to machines . 😡😡😡

Its close to a hospital so you heard the ambulance although the night. The hotel itself was ok

We came to visit the Bronx Zoo and Botanical Garden and this was a good pick for the trip, the room was very clean, and we were able to walk to food as well as the parks. I wanted to share how the staff here did a great job with some random situations during our stay. Our door's safety latch locked behind us when we left in the afternoon, so when we came back to change before dinner, we could not get in. Yaya and Leslie did everything in their power to unlatch the safety catch from outside the room, and the four of us were joking and laughing through the whole thing. Eventually, they made sure that someone on the maintenance staff would be able to come in and get us back into our room (shout out to Jeffrey as well, as he came and handled the situation even though he was off the clock!). They went above and beyond, and made what could have been a really stressful experience into a lighthearted and funny one. These two staff members also had to juggle a bunch of issues at the front desk related to other guests' check in processes at pretty much the same time, and they handled everything going on with professionalism and grace. A fire alarm also went off at 1:00 am later on, and that situation was handled well too. Overall I would reccomend this hotel as the best of some limited options in the area, and I believe the staff will do everything they can to ensure a good stay. Just be careful leaving the room, as the safety latches might just lock behind you!
