It was a nice stay other than the ac unit not working properly.
It was next to little Italy, good food.
The staff is wonderful and helpful, the property.us very clean, beautiful, has everything you need at your fingertips the GM very professional. Last, but not least, my room, I have everything I need and more. It's very nice, room service is amazing, clean room, has everything you need. You can't ask for more..I recommend Holiday Inn Express on 3rd Ave. If you don't believe me come and see for yourself, experience the world of Comfort that feels like home. ❤️
Overall the hotel was fine, but it wasn't very easy to access with public transportation. It's a twenty minute walk to the nearest subway station, which was more than we wanted to do in July weather. It was clear that the main draw for the hotel was probably the hospital and nursing home across the street, as there was not much else nearby. The rooms were clean and, though not spacious, bigger than a downtown room, and had a nice bathroom with a full size shower.
The first receptionist upon arrival was rude and unhelpful at all . We asked to speak to someone else. Because of her attitude. The second person was better than the first one. Outside of the property was dirty with garbage bags near the entrance of the building and people outside asking for money. The place was noisy and loud both inside and outside the building. It was an unpleasant experience for me and my wife. Would not recommend going there

Nice place for my weekend visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was actually pretty good. I liked that they offered turkey sausage because I don’t eat pork. The location was perfect for all of the events that I needed to attend. I would definitely stay here again.
Clean, comfortable room. Courteous front desk staff. Good breakfast for being free. Would stay there again.
