Sky Lodge

This is the best property we have stayed in after visiting Tonga over a number of years. It is spacious with good facilities. A great view of the sea in a quiet location with the convenience of being near to the centre of Nuku’alofa. They provide the biggest bath towels I have ever experienced anywhere.

Exceptional service, courteous, very clean inside and out, beautiful flower garden, they went beyond the call of duty. Perfect place away from the hustle and bustle of town. Right next door has a quaint restaurant, three minutes down the road fresh seafood. They accommodated me with a downstairs unit due to my disability. But I wish I could have stayed upstairs the view was spectacular, I could never be grateful enough to Uliti and Mele, office staff was friendly, kind, all of the above just awesome.

It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The people running it were very friendly and helpful, they deserve praise. Our apartment had most things that we needed and we enjoyed our stay very much. We had some issues with room infrastructure, but they were sorted out quickly by Uliti and Tania. They even bought flowers to apologise. We even had a pack of hot cross buns delivered to us in Good Friday by Uliti. There is a small restaurant next to the hotel, Mama’s Harbourview. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday- Saturday. The food is good, reasonably priced and staff very friendly.

Our apartment didn’t have any bedside lights which meant we had very bright lights on at bedtime and then one of us had to get up to turn them off. We also had an iron and ironing board, but no rack to dry washing on. There was no hairdryer in the apartment. I’d suggest you need your own transport if you stop here as town is about 3 km away.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable and good space

The sea view was breathtaking. The garden was a paradise. The parking was close and convenient. The apartment was spotless clean. The tiles were shiny. The blanket was soft and fluffy. The pillows were nice and firm. The towels were huge and comfortable. The shower was refreshing. The kitchen was well equipped with modern utensils. The aircon was a luxury. Most of all, the host Uliti was kind and helpful and shared yummy treats with us. He picked us up from the airport and waited for hours because our flight got delayed. He is the best! I love this place and will come back to stay again and again.

Nothing. I loved every minute of my stay. The weather in Tonga was hot and mucky. But my room was always cool because of the aircon.

Great location and space. I didn't realise the apartment had seperate bedroom so it was nice to feel like you were home away from home. The space had everything we needed. Utili (host) was very friendly and approachable and was able to cater to some of our enquires as well as give us advice on some things or places we asked him about.

There may have been a little miscommunication somewhere but towards the back end of our stay, our room wasn't getting serviced regularly however Utili (host) was able to provide clean sheets and towels when I asked him. The wifi was unstable at times and wouldn't connect well when we were in the apartment which mean't that we'd be sitting outside the apartment where the service was better.

Sky Lodge was very accommodating for our stay. Warm, welcoming and a homely feel with hotel service.
