"The worst hotel during our month-long trip to Ethiopia and Djibouti"

The worst hotel during our month-long trip to Ethiopia and Djibouti - we paid $225 per night :( We booked a room with a sea view and received a huge hole in front of the hotel!!! There was no hot water during the entire stay! Breakfast supposedly starts at 6 a.m. but no bread, butter or cookies were served until 6:45 a.m.

The staff was very helpful in finding a guide for us at the last minute. They put us in touch with Fathi who was wonderful.We enjpyed him so much that he used him the next day. Your staff everywhere, dining room, front desk etc are all very helpful and friendly.

The hotel has a new infrastructure. So it means that almost everything is new and working. The staff is friendly, but on a learning curve.

The hotel is new and this means they are in the Learning curve. The attitude is good, but for example it takes some time once you make a booking on booking.com, that they respect the prices. AAlso you can be assigned a room where another person is in... so this is learning curve process. I expect them to be at normal configuration in some weeks.
