Yacht Haven

There was a fully equipped kitchen with big fridge including freezer, microwave, toaster, as well as a ceiling fan and A/C. The Yacht Haven was very near to Publix, a huge supermarket (3 min walking). The area was peaceful and very quiet and relaxing. We could use the Pool at the private beach club Cabana Club for free, since there was no pool at the location. There was plenty of room to sleep (even in the attic). The unit had a modern TV that you could use streaming services. We got beach towels free of charge.

There was no breakfast option available within the compound. There was no inside table to dine in or have breakfast when it rains or is windy outside. There was no pool at the location and the one at the Cabana Club was several miles away (no food or drinks allowed). We did not like the fragile toilet system, it was not really functioning as it should. The beds were shorter than usual (tall people over 1,70 m should have problems stretching their legs). I was disappointed that we were not allowed to swim next to the boats for safety reasons. The pictures of other users have somehow tempted me to think we could swim with Manatees. There was no evening entertainment nearby. There was no housekeeping during the entire stay which I was not aware of. The room for luggage and clothing was very limited. There were no coat hangers. The parking at the nearby Sombrero Beach is very expensive. It was too far to walk there though.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a novelty for us and we saw a manatee swimming near our boat. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Also it was located close to Sombrero Beach which was great!!

Alles - es war absolut sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super ausgestattet und die Lage war so schön am Wasser. Morgens sind die Seekühe vorbeigeschwommen und generell sieht man viele Fische und Vögel. Zudem kann man kostenfrei die Kajaks benutzen.

The Cabana Club was a real surprise. We really enjoyed it. We mostly hung out at the beach, but we did use the pool and had lunch one day. Lunch was very good and the service was great. We really enjoyed sitting on our boat deck and watching the birds, fish and manatees.

That they offer discount on boat rental. Then won't rent to you. Had to rent a couple blocks away. Very poor business tactic.
