Manatees and wildlife at the anchorage. Great location, grocery stores close by. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioners were quiet and worked well. Parking easy and close by. First time on a house boat and the experience was interesting and not what we expected.

Sewer smell. Noticed early on when it was intermittent, noticably stronger and more frequent as each day passed. We spent 3 nights and it was wretched by the last day. We are okay with the marine shower, but definitely disliked the marine head.

It was a unique location and I would loved to have stayed. Unfortunately, the toilet was backed up and they turned the pump off so we had to use the restroom at Publix. It was inconvenient. By the second day, it stunk so badly, that we had to spend double the money on a hotel for the remainder of our stay.

I didn’t like that the property manager didn’t seem too sympathetic about the situation or keep us informed of the scenario after we reported it. Instead I had to keep calling them and then finally made the decision to find another place to stay. I also had to spend double the money for a new place. We only got refunded for the remaining stay. We were still charged for the first night and cleaning fee. Disappointing service.
