Bobocabin Gunung Rinjani, Lombok

Very friendly and helpful staff. Awesome view on the volcano in the mornings. Cabin was clean and nice little fire place on the porch. Not easy to get around, but staff helped arrange a rental car.

Over-engenineered app /digital tool, which makes the check-in slower, the communication more difficult (chat function had some bug, so couldn't send messages, so ended up using WhatsApp), doesn't allow keeping the door open (not practical with kids without phones), and there's enough friendly and helpful staff there who can be reached without the app.

The facilities were excellent, but what truly stood out was the absolutely stunning view. We also ordered the firepit to relax and hang out with our friends while enjoying hot tea under the stars—it was the perfect way to end the night. If I get the chance, I’d definitely love to come back again someday!

The good part about the stay is the location with nice views.

Understand that the area is quite chilled but you have to wait for the water heater to heat up before showering. The toilet has no ventilation and it always has a stench of smell. And the food was so bad. I suggest you guys purchase your own food / instant noodles.

Located in Sembalun, you can enjoy a direct view of Mount Rinjani right from your cabin window. One of the Bobocabins with the best views. Comfort, service, and standards are consistent with other Bobocabins. Breakfast could be improved.

Plan your transportation ahead when visiting Sembalun, as there’s no public transport available. You’ll need to rent a car or motorcycle to get around — but no worries, the staff is super helpful and can assist in arranging it for you!
