ILNice friendly and helpful staff, beautiful decorations and very equipped shared spaces! Bed was comfortable and other guests where friendly. Weather was cold outside but inside was warm and cozy.

AUA very well run hostel. Very clean. Lots of rules but at least you were made aware of what was expected. Staff were very good and helpful but there was a definite hierarchy so no one seemed to be able to make a decision without consulting someone else. One staff member was living in the same area as me and I simply asked where I should put plastic in the recycle as no bins were labelled for it. I was told if I had questions I needed to phone the boss next time. Certainly a lovely place to stay though and the rate is very reasonable. I do think in general the place is a great place to stay if you need peace and quiet.. there is a no alcohol rule....I do enjoy a glass of wine with my dinner but was happy to comply.
It's a little out of the way which shouldn't be a problem for hikers. I came from another hotel so didn't need to go through the showering and laundry process.

My daughter and I just needed a place to sleep. It was a first time for us to stay at a hostel. It was so cool. Great building. A very helpful lovely staff. If I needed to come back to Ashland I would definitely consider it again. Even my nine year old said it was cool mom!

USUSGood location with short walk to downtown Ashland. Very clean and exceptionally friendly and professional staff.
The AC was weak. The first night it was very warm. I found a floor fan that helped. The next night there was AC but it was weak.
