USFriendly people at first . There was a smoker in the facility. They did their best to figure it out.
Was asked to leave due to snoring. Stayed in numerous hostel. My first. Was notified while away from the hostel and they went ahead and moved my belongings.Older lady on staff that sleeps in the same room is very territorial. She was argumentative and political with other guests. Watered a plant and think she lost it over that .
Easy check in, host is very responsive and welcoming. Common kitchen is well-stocked, common living space is comfortable.

Manager LOST my 4 night reservation with Expedia--offered me two nights for price of one a nice gesture, but then, Expedia could NOT help with relocating for same price since I accepted 2 nights-- how was I to know this? So-- I ended up paying almost double the price for two nights at another location-- won't book with Expedia or Ashland Commons again. For the price, the place is comfortable with pleasant staff. It is very clean and sees to cater well for hikers= I felt I was treated unfairly.

The beds have waterproof pads under the sheet. It is extremely crinkly and noisy, and makes the beds extra warm. I didn’t appreciate that so much.
