save your money and go elsewhere . the food here is terrible. the staff is rude. the walls are paper thin. would not recommended at all.

I stayed at this hotel recently and was quite disappointed overall. The food was a major issue—options were extremely limited, and what was available was often stale or unappetizing. For the price, I expected much better quality and variety. The hotel itself is clearly in need of repairs. The pool area, in particular, stood out for the wrong reasons—several tiles were broken, and it didn’t feel like a safe or relaxing space to use. Other parts of the property also felt dated and poorly maintained. The one saving grace was the staff. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The staff deserve better, and so do the guests.

The property is very nice. The beach fantastic. There is room for improvement regarding the food.

We stayed at GR Solaris Lighthouse Los Cabos from May 14–21, 2025, and were extremely disappointed. The listing promised 6 restaurants and 4 bars — but one buffet and one bar were closed, the sushi restaurant wasn’t in the lighthouse as advertised, and pool tables were unavailable due to closures. The kids’ area was also closed without warning. The resort posed health risks: my partner had serious allergic reactions due to food cooked in peanut oil (with no signage) and bedding washed with coconut/palm oil-based detergent. Staff could not offer allergen-safe alternatives. We spent time indoors recovering, unable to enjoy our trip. Room service was over an hour late and cold. One meal never arrived. Dining reservations were hard to get for our family, and we had to skip meals more than once. Lighting around our room was dangerously poor at night — a tripping hazard for our kids. This was not the relaxing or safe environment advertised. Expedia is currently reviewing our refund request, but I would not recommend this resort to families, especially those with dietary needs or allergies. Be cautious — the experience did not match what was promoted online.

When tbe remodel is done will be even better.

Things were still not open. Sushi restaurant was not open. Skybar was not open. Food was fine. Pool entertainment was awesome - well done by Ari and Alfredo. We didn’t get to use the facilities next door at their sister hotel. Good experience. Staff was very nice.

Positives: -felt very safe -property is beautiful -was not crowded/no issue getting chairs at all pools -bed was very comfortable -view from room (5th floor King beachfront-you could hear the ocean waves from the bed) -location -affordable -drinks were good -nondairy powder creamer and almond and coconut milk available for coffee (hot only no iced coffee) Negatives: -food was awful (worst at any all-inclusive I have stayed at)/only had one good meal (Italian restaurant-that you couldn't just walk into you had to make a reservation ahead of time even if it was empty)/dessert was such a disappointment (during 4 night stay I only had one redeeming item-flan)/snack bar was decent (saved us on 2 different occasions)/after 4 night stay only had few items that were ok at buffet (chicken and pork tacos were the highlight) -called for room service one night-was never delivered-when I called they said "omg sorry so busy we won’t get to you" -shower drain clogged entire trip/shower never got hot -toilet leaking -no hand towels -bath mat taken 2 days in and never replaced -had difficulty communicating with most staff (most were friendly) -resort was undergoing construction in several areas (which is why we upgraded to beachfront) I would not stay here again and I cannot recommend.
