Flat 2 - The Old Mill - Bowbridge Lock - Stroud

We were visiting relatives and the location and flat were perfect for that purpose. the flat was clean and homely. On arrival the tea making facilities were a nice thought.

Unable to leave the property as tidy as we would have liked as no hoover available.

Perfect for what I was looking for. I was hiking in the area and it was great to get back, have a hot shower an be able to relax, have a hot drink and heat up food

marvellous location beside the canal and just a short walk into town. we saw otters beside the canal and kingfisher so it was ideal and very quiet

a little more attention to the bedding as the duvet covers were cosy but unironed as was the under pillow case and there was thick dust on doors etc at ankle height visible whilst using facilities in the bathroom especially to which I had an allergic reaction

Nice location near the canal

No WiFi or mobile signal. We'd planned to use the weekend to catch up on work in a nice location but ended up in mcdonalds for the free WiFi. There's also a hole in the kitchen floor making it very difficult to cook. No soundproofing so you can hear the upstairs neighbours as clear as if they were in the room with you. This wasn't a cheap weekend away and I would expect more for the price paid.

the shower. could'nt get it to stay up when showering . ended up spraying most of the shower room

It's a homely and comfortable place with all the commodities to make you feel at home. The bed was comfy and heating worked very good, also you have all the equipment you need to cook if needed. Distance to Stroud city centre is just a 10 minute walk and the location of the apartment is close by a canal, ideal for.nice walks.

Everything was perfect

The location by the canal with a picturesque walk into town through some of Stroud’s restored industrial heritage was interesting and beautiful. Milk and cereals provided was a kind welcome. Very comfortable bed. Good range of kitchen equipment and enough tea towels. Thank you.
