Chalet K118 - The Sand Beach

The views were spectacular. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was luxurious.

Lovely chalet in a perfect location it’s within walking distance from the beach. We went for a little pub crawl from the Chalet to the ‘Owl’ and the ‘Gallivant’ two great finds I would highly recommend these pubs . Lovely patio with beautiful views of a marsh and sheep , I will definitely go back to this perfect retreat.

The chalet was beautifully decorated, the kitchen was fully equipped even with herbs and spices!!! The beds were soooo comfortable as were the duvets and pillows, best sleeps ever really made the difference! The views were amazing being at the back of the site, and even the sheep came to the border to say hello, absolute heaven! Also had a steak on the BBQ on the patio overlooking the beautiful moors, very happy memories.

Nothing, it was perfect.

I’ve completed my whole stay and I still loved it! Sibel is an amazing host, she knows the area very well and can recommend many places! One of them was The Mermaid Inn where we had delicious Sunday roast. And the other was The Lamb House that was a home to Henry James. The area is amazing and worth exploring. The stay was a pleasure and I will definitely come back again.

I completed the first part of my stay and I absolutely loved it. The chalet was kept very clean. The view was amazing, it’s situated at the end of the park so it’s also very quiet, especially at this time of the year. It’s only 10 minutes walk to the beach and walking distance to couple of restaurants that allow dogs. When you’re there, you should definitely visit Gallivant. The food and atmosphere were amazing. The chalet and the area are very dog friendly so bring your pet and enjoy the gateway 😍
