The Pioneer Studio at 1400K

Location was great. Nicely renovated property. Great value for the area. Check in was easy peasy!

Had to queue for washing machine and dryer. Lot of noise from upstairs until midnight and then early in the morning. No bar or restaurant within 20 min walk. The Inlet bar was closed seemingly permanently but at least during first week of June.

Good location Comfortable with nice kitchen and bathroom

We enjoyed our stay in The Pioneer. It has a comfortable bed, full kitchen and was very quiet. Didn’t need a car - We walked over to New Sagaya City Market and Kaladi Coffee. We received a discount for ice skate rentals at Alaska Outdoor Gear Rental and they delivered for free. We walked over to Westchester Lagoon and had fun skating. Even saw the aurora from the living room. We will be back.

Good location for the city centre and the airport.

The bed was a little soft for me.

The host was great. The property was perfect for a short stay with my family. It has a grill, a sauna, tv streaming, a yard, a deck, laundry, fridge, stove, pits and pans, microwave. It's awesome!

Great location and facilities

There was no breakfast. I liked the kitchen, the bed, the windows and lack of curtains, good exhaust fan, etc. The owners have done many good things and I cannot list them all but for me the most important thing was the simple, clean decor. Thanks for that. The parking was very good. Getting into the yard was a little difficult with a roller bag going up a few risers but certainly much, much better than going in from the street.

There should be two luggage racks for two people, there was no dish drainer, I don't have a dishwasher and didn't even know how to open the thing let alone use it, couch needs low table, no place to hang clothes when showering, the shower is too small and/or the shower head is too big, need second towel bar, hook on bath door was missing, no liquid hand soap, sink light bulb out, no back-of-head or magnified mirror, no sound attenuation at all and could hear conversations, no toilet brush, no mention of recycling, and last but not least, no good instructions on unlocking the door so I called and emailed and waited 45 minutes (in the snow), finally rang doorbell and was surprised when someone answered. NOT a good start. I hope that this helps the owners make this more comfortable for someone else.
