The Pioneer Studio at 1400K

This apartment is a perfect place to stay as a solo traveller or for a couple. The apartment has been maintained to a high standard with a new bathroom and kitchen. It had everything you could need with plenty off clean towels and a well equipped kitchen. The apartment was spotlessly clean when I arrived with clean bedding and flooring etc. There is a separate Laundry room which was great after being in the back country. Despite previous reviews regarding noise from the other apartments I had no problem and it was peaceful at night. The location is great, near to the local supermarket and there is plenty off parking at the front and private off road parking at the rear. It's pretty easy to find with a great frontage and rear. In the evening you even get a lovely sunset. I would certainly book to stay here again, it's a great and affordable find in Anchorage. I didn't experience any off the negative points raised in other reviews. Thank you to the kind hosts David and Michelle.

good value in smallish space -well laid out with free laundry and compact sauna right behind the apartment.

Anchorage in the winter can be a challenge

Very clean! Self contained with a great littlr kitchen. Convenient to everything.

One night upstairs family was very loud most of the night.

Lack of dressers for clothing The amount of dirt which was swept from under the bed Temp at 71 doesn't work when outside temp below zero and doir opens directly into the unit.

Comfortable and easy reach to bus. Shopping center close by.

Was great

The location was an easy walk into the main street of Anchorage. A good sized grocery store only 2 blocks away..

No toiletries provided. There was a hair conditioner left from a previous guest, but no shampoo.. No soap for the shower. We had to remember to take the soap from the sink to the shower each time. Also, no laundry detergent supplied. Not a deal breaker, but Inconvenient to have great laundry facilities but no access to a single use powder ( either free or to purchase). Taxis had difficulty finding the address, as the entrance was from the lane behind. Upstairs guests were noisy at times.

Super-comfy bed. Easy check-in.

Arrived in the dark, so a little hard to find.

Location was great. Extras provided such as bug and bear spray were very consideragte.

Footsteps of guests upstairs were very loud.

The location was wonderful and we felt very safe
