HHZib, homestay on a hill in the heart of Seoul - 'BEST SEOUL STAY 2024-25' by Seoul

A must stay if you come to Seoul!! Loved everything about this guesthouse, especially the attention for detail:-) The hosts are a super nice couple that puts so much effort and care into this guesthouse. Felt very welcomed since the beginning and appreciated the homemade croffles they gave me to taste as well as the invitation for some tea at their place. Also easy to meet other travelers from all over the world in the common area, if you want too. Super comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen with yummy complementaries, clean, etc…

I stayed here for a month and a half and it was a fantastic experience. The place is comfortable, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. The hosts are incredibly kind, helpful, and generous. I felt very much at home during my stay.

I loved every detail of this place – it is beautifully designed and I felt at home there. I enjoyed going for runs and exercising in the nearby park with views overlooking the city on the other side of the river.

The location requires you to be in good physical health because it's a steep up-the-hill walk. I personally enjoyed those but can be challenging for some.

The view is incredible. The room is cosy and homely. The owners are wonderfully helpful and easily contactable. Such a home-away-from-home and dare I say, even nicer than my home... The kitchen is so functional, fully-stocked with any cutlery you can imagine. Love the toaster and microwave. They even provide some basic breakfast foods. I enjoyed my one-week stay there and would recommend the place to any solo travellers or longer stays, it's a great place to make new friends and super value-for-money. I swear I wasn't paid to write this, it's just that good of a find. Located in a quiet but safe neighbourhood, in-between two train stations and near the lively Chung Ang University campus. There's good food, nice parks and solid karaoke place all within a 10-min walk.

As they advertised, there is indeed a hill. It's a steep climb but I wouldn't considered it a bad thing honestly! It forced me to get some good exercise in after a day of eating >< No other things of mention, it's just great.

The owners were very kind, the bed was very comfortable (more than other hotels I have stayed at in Seoul). I used the washing machine and kitchen and everything worked flawlessly. The atmosphere is very cozy, I felt very comfortable. The location is ver nice - close to a park with a beautiful view of Seoul.

The bathrooms (shower and toilet in one room) do not have a lock. There was no issue with this, but it would be more comfortable to have the option to look the door to take a shower. The homestay is on a hill, but can be accessed via taxi or via walking just fine.

Room and house in general is in perfect shape, 100℅ clean, breakfast goodies, washmachine, etc
