Alobar was so amazing - a haven for us in Kathmandu and we couldn’t recommend it more! Tashi, Kishor and AJ in particular were awesome and helped us out so much with recommendations, trip bookings etc. We stayed here as a group of friends and highly recommend.

"Modern and quite new hostel, very well located, not enough fans"

Modern and quite new hostel, very well located, in general comfortable, with many common areas. The receptionist Ajaya is very friendly and helpful, he even told me where to find the cheapest restaurants around

Not enough fans for everyone. At night, because of the mosquitoes, we have to cover ourselves with the duvets, then it becomes hot. And there are no hooks to hang the clothes in the showers
