12 Passi dal Mare

First of all meeting and chatting with Francesco was a true delight ! I liked 12 Passi dal mare because it was clean, the room was beautifull (really nice decoration), close to the beach, closed parking for my motorcycle, garden with tables (for apero), close to the town center and walking distance to the restaurants and bars, the big television (very big) ... and of course i liked the apperitif left behind the door when i arrived and the sweets offered the morning before my departure. I will definitly recommand this place and i will come back.

Staying for only one night :s

Clean, quiet, cozy residence in front of the sea. An incredibly friendly who is helpful and accommodating. Francesco goes above and beyond with his service and care of his guests. From a delicious fresh fruit plate on arrival and an early morning drive to the airport the following morning. I truly appreciate it. Thank you very much Francesco. I feel you are more a friend than host and I look forward to returning soon.

We received a warm welcome from the host with fruits even late evening.. Host is friendly and helpful. Also recommend us some nice place to visit and meals. And give us some sweeties when we were leaving the place...

No. Everything perfect.

The hospitality of our Host was excellent. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and surprised us in the morning with Pastries from the region. The view of the ocean was amazing.

There is nothing we did not like.

Everything! The room was perfect, as well as the sea view. But Francesco...Such an amazing man. I never ever had a host like that. He went above and beyond to make us feel good and welcome. Showed us the city and best caffe, drove us around, brought hs breakfast everyday, drove us to the airport...and so much more. I really felt like I visited a friend! You can see the sea every day from the room, from the garden and lesson to the waves sound. This is very relaxing place. Room was clean and equipped in everything you may need. Francesco is really a great host - he was bringing us some sweets and the best focaccia barese, he was recommending the places to visit, best restaurants and beaches.

All was great!

The apartment is situated very nicely at the coast (just as its name implies), it is very clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped. And best of all is Francesco: an outstanding host, friendly, helpful, generous, always smiling and the good soul of the place. Upon arrival we were offered a plate of fresh fruit, on departure the next morning some delicious sweets, fresh from the bakery. We enjoyed our short stay very much, can highly recommend this place and hope to come back soon.

Great location with off road parking

The room was spacious, clean and tidy, quiet and situated right across the street from the sea. The area is also relatively quiet (mid-September) and authentic/non-touristic. The Santo Spirito port with plenty of restaurants, etc. is just a few minutes walk away. Our host, Francesco, was incredible. We felt welcome from the first minute. He quickly showed us to our room and checked us in so we could unwind after our trip, but made sure to send us some recommendations for restaurants and the like. Whenever we left or returned and he happened to see us, he also checked in with us to make sure that everything was alright or whether we needed anything. On our last day, he kindly let us check out late and also called someone to check which bus stop we had to go to. (We needed to go to Bitonto.)

The only negative I can think of is that the interior walls are thin. If there are other visitors who happen to be loud/inconsiderate, it may get noisy. However, there are only two rooms, so it's unlikely to be an issue.
