The room was tatty and smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned
GBGBUnique and beautiful house, spacious and comfortable room and bed, I felt immediately well. Kitchen was well equipped, toiletries and towels were also provided. My room had a very quiet fridge, big TV, library, and an armchair with footrest. There was wooden decor and good heating. Very close to food supermarkets and bus stops. Definitely recommended.

The room was unbearably hot and only had a tiny window that didn't open much. It was so hot we had to sleep with the door to the hallway open. I'd stay here in the colder months but would definitely avoid in summer.

GBGBEven though my stay have a lot of problem as it an unfortunate so I have to ask for a refund as heater, hot water and the house start leaking everywhere. But other than that my first impression with the property is really nice, feel like home tbh. Tivi and wifi work perfectly, Bed is a quite small and low, the room is extremely big feel like a mansion, and the owner is very very kind for all the kitchen stuff, washing machine. So the incident which I have faced is very serious as I am not taking shower and live in very cold environment but can not put down a score for this old school vibe property. Oh and location was OK, just one bus away for the city centre, and they will ask for 50 pound deposit which is reasonable, hopefully I will get my refund and if the problem is being fixed definitely will be back again.

I booked a 2 day stay and on 1 day I noticed there was no hot water in the bathroom and shower. The bed is uncomfortable the room was dusty and carpet dirty throughout the whole house. It’s not well kept and has maintenance issues don’t believe the photos they are showing you here. they must of taken them 10 years ago.2nd night the celling started to leak water into my room and outside of it and throughout the house. I had no electricity for a few hours.and light switches having water leaking inside. communication is poor no security is poor as front door to the property seems to be always open I could go but can’t be bothered if I could give it a big fat 0 if I would .honestly listen to this review . And save yourself a hassles
