79 Sam's Place, Valletta

The property was immaculate and all facilities new and in working order. The location was close to all the sights but far enough away from the cruise ship throngs. Excellent internet. Noel was responsive to our queries. But the piece de resistance was the view of the Grand Harbor and the rooftop terrace, from which we ate all our meals. Spectacular!

The bathroom was a bit snug (but the shower enclosure wasn’t). The A/C in the bedroom was surprisingly noisy at times.

We absolutely loved it here. Could not ask for a better place to stay. So convenient and super clean. The most amazing thing about Sam’s Place though is having this whole beautiful terrace upstairs all to yourself with the most beautiful views across the grand harbour and surrounds. Just wow! Noel was so amazing to deal with, great communication and very accommodating. Thank you Noel for making our time in Valletta so memorable.

Fantastic location in the old town; sensational views across the grand Harbour towards the ‘Three Cities’. Could watch the action in the harbour from the window or from the roof terrace. Right next to peaceful oasis of the Lower Barrakka Gardens. And quiet, but only 2 blocks (yes up steep steps) to the main streets like Merchant and Republic. Also liked that we could grab bread (bakery), fruit and veges (small local store) and deli food ( cold cuts cheese olives etc) ( another small local store) all within a few blocks of us. And a lot of cafes and restaurants within 3 or 4 blocks. That part of the old town facing Three Cities is great atmosphere and feel. Apartment is compact but has separate lounge / dining, and kitchen, and bedroom and a very compact but good (shower, water pressure and heat) bathroom. Basic essentials in kitchen and bathroom were supplied.

cosy apartment in fantastic location; close to shops and restaurants. we loved the roof terrace with views over the Grand Harbour. Noel was a great host; very helpful and kind. we would stay here again!

Location is perfect with an incredible view over the grand harbour, very clean, beautifully refurbished, and equipped with everything needed, situated on a nice street, the roof terrace is just fantastic, reached by an amazing staircase and out of a little door then wow!!

The bin men are quite noisy in the mornings, parking is pot luck, and there’s steps! But if you’re able this property is 10/10.

Loved everything about 79 Sam’s Place: Fantastic location, absolutely beautiful views from the lounge area and especially from the rooftop terrace across Valletta harbour. Very comfortable, very well equipped and Noel the host was very helpful. Absolutely nothing to dislike 😊

Amazing location that will help you with all activities: easy in/out from Valletta but also close to all city attractions - walkable experience. Apartment is very clean and renovated so you will have great time there.
