Samurai Suite 1 , 15mins from Kyoto Eki , 5 mins to Arashiyama

Very clean, very close to the train station, close to convenience store & grocery store (grocery similar to Aldi’s). Nice, quiet neighborhood with friendly locals. Secure entry to property & easy to locate using Apple & Google maps.

Small tight staircase - be sure to pack light, use smaller suitcases; we left the bigger, heavier suitcases downstairs. Be careful when using the washer/dryer unit - our kids accidentally pressed a button & we had to restart the whole process again (takes about 3.5-4hrs to wash & dry a load).

Spacious house with lovely inner garden. Comfortable beds and pillows enough for a big family. Quiet neighborhood, but close to train station and quick access to Kyoto station and other sightseeing spots like Nijo Castle and Kyoto Railway museum. Modern bathroom with large bath, washing machine and dryer. All necessary household appliances. It could be great to have more plates and at least one pot. But in general we enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this place to a big family with children.

Great communication from the host before and during during the stay. The suite is located so close to Hanazono station. Prefect for family of 5-6, rooms and bed are comfortable.

Was a digital pin so I didn’t have to worry about loosing the key

Very clean, lots of room, conveniently located, and great amenities.

It did lack good seating in the living area.
