Lovely 8 Berth Caravan In Skegness, Ref 96023D

The outside sitting area.

It was dirty .. the bed protectors was filthy an smelly .. had to go buy sleeping bags to put underneath my own bedding I brought , for extra protection.felt it was overpriced for the low quality.

Site was in a good place close to Skegness town

No. Light in toilet shower broken. Bed sheets not very clean electric ran out after one night we were not told we had to get electric other sites we been on was included ran up on Monday night about problems with electric still waiting for reply 2 days later

Supermarkt in der Nähe, Dame am Empfang war freundlich.

Sauberkeit des Mobile Homes. Die Hälfte der Steckdosen nicht funktionabel. Die Betten/Matratzen alt und durchgelegen. Töpfe verrostet und Besteck schmutzig. Essensreste in der Heißluftfritteuse. Kühlschrank klebrig und gelb angelaufen. Anrichte und Tisch klebrig und schmierig. Wir haben vorher leider die Bewertungen nicht gelesen, deshalb hier auch so ausführlich!

The site, caravan and location was nice, relaxing and not too busy at night

There was no frying pan to cook a breakfast, only 2 cups and 1 glass for an 8 berth caravan, and the electricals behind the tv were atrocious, 7 plugs for a 4 socket extension in one socket on the wall. It was also a very old mattress, I had to be extra careful not to fall out of bed.

The key lock was on the floor broken. We had to crawl under caravan for keys. Had to knee back door to open it. 1 bedroom door didn't shut. Shower door is dislodged. Gate was off its measurement, so couldn't lock gate open The place was grubby. The Beds were horrendous. Sofa was uncomfortable Fridge was barly cold. The room on the far back with 2 beds were gross. Window on bedroom with 2 beds across from toilet looked like someone tried to smash it open from outside.

The outdoor decking perfectly situated to catch the sun at any time of day!! It was homely, relatively clean for the age.

There were a few niggles, the fridge kept things warm and the freezer froze solid in no time at all. The plug socket in the main bedroom didn’t work, the bedroom door also didn’t stay closed. The second door to the decking had to be lifted to open or it stuck at the bottom, would be a bit of a worry if we were there longer!

No reception open on Sunday the day of arrival and electricity ran out the first evening with no way to get any more. Grass and dirt on one of the beds.

The caravan was clean and had most essentials

The external door in the sitting area as dropped so it let in a draft there wasn’t a lighter for the gas fire as was confused about the electric meter as was told i needed a card to top up but luckily there was enough electric for our stay and also booking.com sent the wrong code for the key safe but looking found a number to ring 2c holiday where they was able to give us the right one and 2 of the duvets had a tear in them and one of the single bed had a double duvets so the cover i brought with me didn’t fit and it wasn’t easy to find there caravan as the site did have anything to suggest how the work the numbers out and we was was right at the bottom so had a long walk to go and come bk.
