Alnwick 2 Bed Cottage Stay, Joe's Cottage

Fantastic cosy stay in alnwick. Everything you need for a stay, close to everything we needed or wanted. Our little Buddy found it home from home with the log burner and cottage feel which really was pleasing. Nikki was really responsive to any queries we may have had. When we return to Northumberland, Joe's cottage will be at the top of our list! Thank you for a great relaxing stay! 🥰🐕

The double bed was against the wall so we pulled it out but put it back before we left. Really hope you didn't mind that. We didnt mind at all and suited our needs.

Warm, comfortable, clean. Lovely quality bedding and towels. Thoughtfully provided with guest comfort in mind.

Perfect cottage for a little getaway. Myself , my partner and our puppy went for a weekend just after new year and we were so pleased with the house. Such an ideal location. Perfect inside, nice and clean on arrival and had everything we needed.

We can’t wait to return back!

Exactly as pictured. Was nice to have a few meals there as a lot of local businesses closed early around new years. Kitchen was well equipped. Washing machine available to use. Property management clear and concise. Dog friendly and toasty inside. Smart TV came in handy. Town of Alnwick had lots to offer all close to this property. Doggy Day Care nearby was superb - dogs can’t be left unattended in property

Vehicular traffic outside could be loud at times.

Bed is on the smaller side, but it was ok

Property has a name on the website but there was no name on the property itself, We arrived in the dark and as there is no photo of the front of the property on the site, it was difficult to work out which one it was

Joey’s cottage is a really well situated, beautifully presented, period property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it had everything we needed to be cosy and comfortable. Everything was spotless and the wood burner is a great addition. Fantastic location for the centre of Alnwick, the castle, restaurants, cafes, shops and the playhouse. Also not too far from the stunning Northumberland coastline - so lots of amazing walks, history, nature, beaches and the lovely island of Lindisfarne! Nikki was a very lovely and welcoming host. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend.
