The host was really friendly and helpful. The location was incredible! Less than 5 minute walk to the closest beach which was lovely and very child friendly. The apartment is located in the old part of the city which is quiet and beautiful with cobbled streets. There are also lots of restaurants in walking distance & luckily for me a tasty vegan café right opposite the front door of the apartment which is a rare find in Portugal! The best thing about this apartment though is the spectacular view from the terrace - absolutely stunning! I woke early one morning to watch the sunrise and it was so peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place.

There was a bit of miscommunication with the booking as we were told that a cot could be provided for our baby so didn’t bring a travel cot. However when we arrived there was no cot and one wasn’t available for our stay. It wasn’t a huge problem for us but would have been for parents who don’t like to co-sleep with their babies.

The ocean view is fascinating!

The apartment is old and haven’t seen the renovation for many years. Also the speed of internet wan a bit frustrating (especially if you plan to work from the place).
