Lots of stairs that are difficult to lug luggage up and down if you’re a solo traveler. But I think that might be the case with all properties in Split.
FRRoom in the middle of the old town but very quiet! The bed was comfortable and everything was nearby.

USPerfect little home base for a few days in split. Right in the action of old town, but not too far from the taxi dropoff point to carry the bags. AC blows cold, generally very clean, excellent value. Not too many frills, but you’re not paying to be central to sit in the hotel room, and it does all the important stuff well at an inexpensive price
My only (very minor) gripes: There was some gunk in the bottom of the electric teakettle that salted my morning coffee game. But you’re not in split to drink hotel coffee, you’re there to get coffee outside the little cafe around the corner, peoplewatch and and blast cigs. Also there was no ironing board—the host said it was fine to iron on the table with a towel, which worked, but was a bit difficult to manage shirt sleeves and the upper part of trousers the way you would with the point of an ironing board. Neither of these issues would prevent me from rebooking
NLBest part, you are living in a 1700 year old historical part of the palace. Right in the heart of the old town, you walk down and you are having all the eateries and shopping center.
Nothing. It's a small room perfect for a solo or couple. People complained about the staircase but it's 1.5 floors. Can be easily taken care of.

The stairs are quite narrow and are a bit challenging with luggage, but that is only when you are arriving and leaving.
AURoom was excellent and had everything we needed in a 10/10 location. The room had a bar fridge and a kettle for our use. We would definitely return next time we arr in Split. Thank you to the owner.
Steps are a bit tricky with luggage.
