Nothing much
A cramped space, which made no sense with an empty space upstairs. A skylight without a curtain/blind - more things like that. Very expensive. Mainly, the lack of guest-friendliness - can't check in early even if the room is ready and empty, can't leave bags anywhere, and remote check in took longer than doing it face to face - these things are done for the convenience of the host, rather than with the guest in mind. Also, despite paying in advance a total in which taxes and charges were included - when you arrive, they won't let you in unless you pay another tax - just be transparent from the start.
