Tekapo1929 - Pioneer Cottage

Great location

Too much of the price relying on the location, some investment in the cottage is needed.

Nice old period property within easy walking distance of the lake, the Dark Sky Project and bars and eateries, but just far enough away to be quiet.

We enjoyed the old property for what it is, but the 'modern' additions (shower, aircon etc) are rather tired. Everything could have been cleaner.

Great to have a washing machine and drying racks. Fabulous location.

Nothing.

A filthy tired hovel. Mould and insect eggs on the mattress. Could not possibly stay at this location and had to move elsewhere. Smelt bad.

Lovely self contained cottage. It's old but pretty cute, had everything you need eg, washing machine and clothes horse. Easy check in and out. Bed was comfortable and had two pillows each which we love. Parking available. Easy walk into shops and food. Beautiful location on the lakefront.

The location near the lake, near the Church of the Good Shepherd and near the star gazing places

The cottage felt close to derelict, very run down, in need of painting, poorly laid out and ill- equipped

Close the to lake, quiet place

Spiderwebs and spiders, we didn't feel confoatable there unfortunately
