No.3 The Villa

This property is an apartment within a larger house that has been divided up into four apartments - the holiday apartment is on the ground floor and there is parking in a small driveway right next to the property. The property is in an excellent location for walking down to central Oban and is quiet at night. There are three bedrooms and a good sized kitchen and lounge and the property is spotlessly clean throughout. All in all, this is an excellent choice for Oban and would highly recommend.

There is a hanging rail in the bedrooms rather than a wardrobe but this make sense considering the space available and there is a large chest of drawers instead. There is also only one bathroom with a shower - not a problem as we were only a party of two but this may be an issue if all three bedrooms are full - there is however, an additional toilet in the utility room to the back of the kitchen. Also, note that this property is located uphill and is a steep walk up - a car would be required if mobility is an issue.

Place was fantastic, nice rooms, well equipped kitchen, nice parking spot. Highly recommended.

No. 3 Villa was a great place for our stay in Oban. Because it was about half way up between town and McCaig's Tower and the center of town it was ideally located. The space was clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well equiped and it had pretty much everything necessary to make our stay ideal. Having a space to park our car was very welcomed. Having a washer was a nice bonus since we were travelling for 2 weeks with just carry on luggage.

Not a real big deal but if there were shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom it would have saved us from buying some.

It was spacious and comfortable very clean and modern

The fridge made a noise which you could hear down hall also it did say on the amenities that there was a coffee machine but we could not find one

Extremely well appointed and clean. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Easy to use all the kitchen paraphernalia. Comfortable beds too

It was it was up quite a steep hill. It’s close to the mccaigs tower though and close to the centre of town

Excellent location, spacious, well equipped, excellent communication with owner and a wonderful place to stay.

The property is a ground floor flat which was part of a big stone built dwelling. It was well furnished and had all the comforts of home. There were big fluffy towels for each person staying and a walk in power shower where you would want to stay a little longer than necessary. It was a real home from home and a bit more.

There really wasn't much to dislike, but be aware that the walk into town is on a steep hill, going is good but coming back might be a bit much for those out of shape. The good news is that there are plenty places to park if you take the car.
