O2 Villas Ella

Goed Engels sprekend personeel. En fijn privé zwembad ook al is deze niet verwarmd. Rustig gelegen en met 6 minuten per tuktuk in het bruisende Ella.

Gehorigheid van andere gasten. De huisjes zijn niet dik geïsoleerd waardoor je er alles doorheen hoort. Onze douche rand lekte waardoor de gehele badkamer vloer nat was na het douchen.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The bedrooms are small but well decorated. The staff are really helpful and do everything they can to ensure you have a wonderful stay. We particularly enjoyed their cookery course which includes going to the market and choosing your favourite ingredients so that you make dishes you really love - that makes such a difference. The restaurant manager Roshan was particularly helpful, offering lots of advice about things to do in Ella and in other parts of Sri Lanka and organising a driver for us. It was my daughter's birthday while we were staying and the hotel presented her a lovely birthday cake at breakfast which was so kind. It's a bit of a hilly walk into town but of course lots of tuktuks. Views from the pool are beautiful.

The one real downside was the noise. It might be better in some rooms than others but we were kept awake by other guests coming in late and chatting outside their rooms and we also heard the restaurant music etc. The rooms are essentially fancy huts so you hear everything. But it's still a lovely hotel and great team of staff. The massage was very enjoyable but not incredible.

Super accueil, un personnel très à l’écoute et disponible. Piscine à débordement avec une très jolie vue sur la montagne. Très bonne nourriture !

The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. They took their time to make our stay even better. The food and breakfast was delicious. We even took part in a Sri Lankan cooking class with a chef from the hotel which was an amazing experience, we made so much incredible food. I strongly recommend booking a stay at O2 villas
