Due to my experience I can’t think of anything

-Even before my arrival, I went to the office to collect the keys. The staff member I spoke to was extremely rude and impatient. When I inquired about the location of the property and taxis, her behavior was similarly unhelpful and unfriendly. This initial interaction already set a negative tone for my stay. -The stove in the accommodation was not working, preventing me from preparing my own meals. This forced me to dine out, incurring additional expenses that I had not budgeted for. -There was a significant ant problem throughout the property, starting from the entry door. The presence of ants made it uncomfortable to walk around the space, and this level of hygiene is unacceptable.

Great location: close to the center, yet private and no noise. Everything was as pictured and all accommodations were as described and in good state.

The late check-in fee is harsh although discussed with staff 2.5 months in advance that our train was at a Set Time. We were told the shuttle service was somehow already booked up. They refused to compromise on this and incurred a €20 charge on top of an already overpriced apartment. Trains to Lagos are few and far between so you’re likely going to get caught out unless you pay €70-€80 for a Bolt or taxi ride, train is €7.50pp fyi. Unsecured windows in the living room. ‘Breakfast included’ was poor value and not worth it, a package is left at the door with a value of less than €2 per person. Pictures of apartment are widely deceiving. Not enough toilet tissue for our 3 night stay and no washing tabs for the washing machine provided. We tried contacting staff to request these essentials and were ignored so had to source things ourselves. They also didn’t make the effort to personalise their ‘end of stay’ email template to us starting it with “Dear [FULL-NAME],”. This review is an honest reflection of our stay with Dream Algarve and i hope the service improves for future bookings.
