Waverley B & B

The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Brilliant breakfast to our requests each day, a beautiful dining room, a very cosy room for our stay, a short walk to the shops and diners. All in all, an 11/10 rating!

What can I say? There was not one negative about the B&B. The only damper to our stay was the weather - a little patchy at times - but no-one can predict or control Mother Nature, so no point to complaining on that regard!

Justina … my husband described you as ‘A Ray of Sunshine’ and it was you that made our few nights stay so pleasurable, so THANK YOU!! Nothing was too much trouble and we noted you were so lovely and personable with all the other guests too, so it was sunshine all round!

Lovely clean, newly-decorated, big room with large bay windows. Great breakfast. The hosts were very friendly. The B&B was very conveniently located, only a 5 min walk away from the main street with restaurants, etc. Yet not so close that it wasn't easy to park for free on the street nearby. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Minehead or the area.

Breakfast was quality full English . I had room 16 which had views of the hills , which was a suprise . Friendly and helpful people. Beautiful room . Would definitely stay there again .

Friendly, welcoming hosts. I booked a single room at short notice but the next day realised I hadn't checked for how many flights of stairs I would have to climb. I am elderly and find stairs difficult. I emailed a query regarding this and very quickly received a reply saying there were 3 flights of stairs to my room and no lift but they did have a double room on the first floor available and have upgraded me, at no further charge, to this room. I had travelled to Minehead on family business and upon arrival , late in the evening, I received a very warm welcome. I had been met by a friend who drove me to the b & b and she offered to fetch me fish and chips. Di, the hostess, opened up the dining room so that I could eat in comfort. Throughout my short, but pleasant stay, I was treated with friendliness and respect. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, Steve and Di, and the staff. I had a comfortable, though brief, stay, with Steve keeping up a steady supply of lattes and the breakfasts were great and plentiful, with what must be the best scrambled eggs in Minehead. I would highly recommend this fabulous b&b, and look forward to an opportunity to return.

Honestly? I can't think of a single negative regarding my stay, I only wish I could have stayed longer.
