30 Park Street

What a lovely place to rest, great owners who are very accommodating. You're close to the main street with lots of lovely places to eat and antiques to check out. Beautiful scenery and nice walking spaces.

The host (Minnie) was fabulous. Breakfast wasn't included (which we knew when booking) and she recommended suitable locations in the town (2 mins walk). There was however tea/coffee facilities with premium products for both (e.g. Twining Royal Tea). The bed was comfortable and it was good to be able to park onsite (Inside a locked gate).

Minnie was an excellant host, very welcoming and their lovely puppy Bo is absolutely gorgeous Ideal location Although the train runs very close by we didnt hear it The bed was very comfy

There was not a lock on the door of the room, not sure i would feel comfortable if other people were staying there Only option for water was sparkling, would have been nice to have the option of still water

Lovely period property, very friendly relaxed hosts, secure bike storage. Excellent food recommendations.

Nothing

The authentic rusticity of the cottage and the secret garden concealed behind the fence. One could imagine it featuring in a Gothic novel!

There wasn't anything to dislike

Close to town and The Common. Nice tray of tea and coffee making things including milk in a small fridge. Was warm so a fan was very welcome.

Lovely comfortable property with very welcoming hosts.

I really loved having the separate wing and everything that was provided during the stay. The hosts were easy to contact and they were incredibly friendly and kind. They provided me with everything you’d expect from a hotel and more, including a lovely selections of hot chocolates, tea, coffee, biscuits and sparkling/spring waters. There was also a lovely TV in the room which was linked up to Netflix so very much enjoyed that. The hosting was very personalised and it made for a delightful stay. These hosts really go above and beyond for those that stay with them and I would 100 times over stay there again.

There wasn’t a lock on my door which surprised me somewhat however the wing is private so at no point did this affect how much I enjoyed my stay.
