188 Apartments - Lantana - pool, garden and patio

This apartment was exactly like in photos and more spacious than expected. It was spotlessly clean and the location was convenient to Cascais centre (approx 20 mins walk / 5 mins cheap Uber). The pool and outdoor terrace were lovely and there's a big supermarket and a few restaurants just across the road. Alex was a super friendly host and made us feel very welcome. He even kindly let us check in early /out late as the apartment was free, which was much appreciated given our many bags and small child! Its a great spot, we would highly recommend!

If you want to gaze at the stars and the moon while sitting on a terrace under the open sky, this is the place for you. In the summer, it must be even better because there’s a beautifully lit pool in the yard. Stargazing in Portugal is a special kind of pleasure—the night sky here is breathtaking. Plus, there’s a huge pine tree in the yard that adds to the atmosphere. And it’s incredibly quiet. The yard and the entire house are well-maintained and tidy. The apartments are bright, well-equipped, and comfortable. We stayed for a month and felt great. Yes, there were a few minor issues, but Alex was always quick to respond and fix them. The beds, mattresses, and linens are excellent. The kitchen is very well stocked. Everything is clean and tidy, giving the impression that it’s all brand new. The layout of the rooms and bathrooms is very convenient—the second bedroom has its own bathroom. The doors are solid, and the kitchen has good soundproofing. The windows are high-quality. The location is excellent. There’s a supermarket nearby with a great selection, a pharmacy just a couple of doors away, and playgrounds within a 15-17 minute walk—both in the city center and near the synagogue. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the ocean, depending on the spot. Guia Park is a 15-minute walk away. There is plenty of parking space on the road near the house, plus you can park in the yard. Very convenient for families with children, especially in the summer season. Alex is the best landlord we’ve ever met—it’s hard to find someone more meticulous and attentive.

As for the downsides—though they are quite subjective—there’s no bidet or hygienic shower. Personally, I also felt there wasn’t enough storage space, but we stayed for a month in winter with a small child, plus a friend and her child. In total, we were three adults and two kids. Also, at first, there was a slight musty smell, but it disappeared once we started living there, airing the place out, and during cleaning, it seemed to be treated properly. However, these are minor things that only became noticeable during a long stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a fantastic apartment with my parents, and I can recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the incredibly welcoming owner Mr Alexandre, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The apartment itself was immaculate and beautifully maintained, offering a clean and comfortable environment to relax after a day of exploring. The lovely pool area was a highlight for us, providing a refreshing escape where we could soak up the sun and unwind together. The location couldn’t have been better! We were within walking distance of local attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to immerse ourselves in the local culture. It was the ideal spot for a family vacation. Overall, our experience was truly wonderful, thanks to the awesome owner who was always available to help us with anything we needed. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay with an amazing host in a prime location, this is the place to be! We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful newly furnished apartment. It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We had a small baby and on arrival highchair and travel cot set up and made up for us. Alex the host was wonderful and gave great insight into the area and was on hand for any issues. Check in was easy and apartment is in a convenient location close to supermarkets and a nice walk to parks, the sea and the center and well serviced by buses. The pool was a lovely spot to lounge around as well.

Beautiful and immaculate apartment with everything we needed. The rooms were very well equipped with a fabulous kitchen, lovely pool with an outside dining area.

We had a perfect stay. Perfect location in a very nice appartmen/house. The kids loved the swimming pool. The host was very friendly and gave us some good hints for our stay. I will for sure go back!

Lovely apartment, excellent condition and well equipped. We loved the pool and terrace. Really close to an excellent supermarket and close to restaurants and the centre of Cascais. Alex was a very helpful, welcoming host who ensured we were well looked after.

Alex was a wonderful and very welcoming host. We didn't arrive until 12.30am due to some luggage issues. Alex was very understanding and still spent a lot of time showing us around and going through all the facilities. He also gave us some very helpful tips and advice on places to visit during our stay. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Everything worked well. Air conditioning in all rooms. Large supermarket 2 minutes walk away which opens until 9.30pm every day ( there are a few cafes at the supermarket too.) Pharmacy beside the apartment. Nice patio area and small garden area. The pool was a good size and was very refreshing. The immediate area is very peaceful. 15 minutes walk will have you in Cascais which has a large selection of restaurants, bars, shops etc. There is a footpath along the coast into town. Lovely views as you walk. Train station about 30 minutes walk away. Train journey to Lisbon takes about 40 mins. Trains leave every 20 mins until about 1am. Sintra is a lovely place to visit. We did a day trip there. We loved Cascais and would love to go back again. Remember to pack comfortable shoes though - there are cobblestone paths everywhere!
