SCAM - CHARGED AND A COMPLETE NO SHOW. I HAD TO REBOOK ALL ACCOMMODATION AGAIN LAST MINUTE AND CHARGED DOUBLE THE PRICE IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION

Arrived at property. No key. Person who runs this property told me it hasn't been available for months. It's still on the site. Had to get a hotel room as it was getting late. So disappointed with Booking. Com.

The instructions to collect the keys were wrong, and nobody would answer the contact phone or emails. We were under the rain and had to look for a restaurant to cover from the rain while trying to sort this out. Booking.com eventually offered €60 as compensation for us to find another place. Much less than the cost of the apartment or of any other hotel that we could get on the same day (keep this in mind when you plan your trip, there is no full support). Finally the owners called us back and gave us the correct code to obtain the keys. We had to call them back again because there were only 2 towels in the apt. and we where 4. They were nice to send someone with more towels. The place (specially the entrance, staircases and floors) is dirty and the walls sorely need paint. The TV didn't work. The steep narrow interior staircase had no handrail, you had to steady yourself with your elbows against the walls. The beds had no top sheets, so we slept with a blanket on top of us that was probably used by hundreds of people before. The toilet paper finished and there was no replacement. There is a rock bar below but they were mostly silent by 11:30pm (this was Monday night, I don't know about weekends), except for the employees moving noisy metal beer canisters around, but those noises eventually faded, or we were so tired that we fell asleep.

The location was great, super close to the pubs and main tourist attractions.

The heater didn’t work and the WiFi would go in and out was not consistent.
