The West End Loft - 5* Retreat - Private Parking!

The location is superb. The place has veey comfortable bed. Instructions were photographed as well which made finding the place easier.

We arrived at night and it took some scouting ahead to find the parking

It was a great location and customer service was good at resolving problems. also comes with parking space at the back of the flat which is great, though we did arrive the second night to find someone had parked in the spot but there’s not much the owners can do about that. We’dinitially booked different Apartment which was closer to where we wanted to be, however I received a message explaining that it was double booked and that this apartment was available. I took the offer of this apartment but probably didn’t check it well enough as the second bedroom was not really big enough for an adult and much more suited to a child due to the very small room and the coomb ceilings which made it difficult to stand.

As mentioned it is worth being aware that the second bedroom is a single bed squeezed into space that would work for a child but not an adult. It also has a glass door which is not great if travelling just with friends.

This is a very nicely furnished comfortable flat. The master bedroom is excellent. The second room is really tiny but ok. The host was very responsive and went out of her way to respond to every query we had.

At more than £300 a night this is the most expensive place I’ve ever booked on this platform, by a long way. It’s a nice enough place but by far not perfect. It was the weekend of university start with lots of parents dropping their kids off in Glasgow and sadly all the places that kept their prices reasonable were booked out so we ended up at the mercy of hosts who chose to double or triple their prices when they can. The place has a few minuses (low water pressure, unstable water temperature, common staircase dirty smelly and not well kept) so I think a fair price would be around 1/3 of what we paid for it. Nevertheless we were happy there and, as mentioned, the host was very welcoming.

The location in the West End was beautiful & peaceful. Very close to a subway & shops. The apartment itself is very nicely decorated & very clean. Main bed is super soft & squishy - just what you need after 30 hrs of air travel.

We had a lot of luggage so the stairs were some work! The 2nd bedroom was tiny.

Die Wohnung ist an einer guten Lage. Zudem ist die Wohnung toll eingerichtet (hatte jedoch überall eine Dachschräge und ist im 2.OG ohne Lift)

Leider war es nicht nicht so sauber wie gewünscht. Im Abfall war ein Deo vom vorherigen Gast zu finden, in der Nespressomaschine waren die gebrauchten Kapseln noch in der Maschine, ein gebrauchter Putzlappen war im Lavabo und der Toaster war sehr schmutzig. Jedoch muss erwähnt werden, dass die Besitzer immer erreichbar waren und ihre Unterstüzung anboten.

Nicely decorated with everything you need & a great location.

I’d probably say the only negative was that they allow pets so it wasn’t great for my eyes. More a personal problem than their fault to be honest.

i didn’t love having to stoop all the time with it being a loft apartment but it was a lovely apartment all the same

Availability of parking space in prime west end location. Also access to great variety of bars and restaurants. Early check-in.

Location was great. Apartment had everything We needed. Owner was in contact all the time to make sure everything was our taste :) We travelled with our daughter and dog, and the apartment being located between botanic gardens and Kelvingrove Park was the best idea, also plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops in the same area

Just to say a "but" for the owner, it would be convenient to change instructions to access the car park as now the local shop has been changed and we missed the entrance. Otherwise all good :)
