The West End Loft - 5* Retreat - Private Parking!

The location was great

We struggled to get the shower at the right temperature, it was cold or seriously hot. This loft apartment(slanted ceilings )was awkward for us tall people, we all had several head bumps. 2nd bedroom tiny our 14 year old struggled to move around in it!…expensive for what we got.

Pros- great location. Property was nicely decorated throughout with nice finishing touches such as gold door knobs/handles etc. host was very helpful and attentive. Main bedroom was very spacious and enjoyable to stay in. Grievances:. Misrepresented the second room. Should make it clear in the description that ideally for a child. Not suitable for a grown adult! Completed inequality of room proportions where 2 adult singles sharing the flat, Flat took ages to warm up! The cooker did not work! The bin in main BR not emptied. The cupboard room filthy skirting boards. The corner of duvet stained! No carpet, no rug, the door to cupboard room not frosted and thus no privacy an adult person cannot stand up straight when getting out of the bed. Poor excuse for a room given it’s described as 5* retreat!! No stars from the occupant of the cupboard room!!

Great property with everything we needed. Location was excellent - the west end is vibrant and it was a two minute walk to Kelvinbridge subway and access to the rest of Glasgow .

The property was finished to a high standard and was well equipped with everything needed to make a stay feel homely. It was situated in a lovely area of Glasgow with plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars. There were also many takeaway food outlets which were independent with top quality food. Access to public transport, tube/buses was great. The property was central to many attractions inc the botanical gardens, art gallery and museum. Kelvin Park is a two minute walk. All the convenience without the bustle, the area maintained an interesting ambiance without inner city noise and pollution and yet had pockets of vibrant activity. The host was wonderful, keeping us informed with precise instructions for keys and parking. We highly recommend and will definitely be returning. We have to return, Cottenrake Bakery literally outside the front door!😋

Nothing it was perfect.

Great host, good communications and ease and the property matched the details. The locatin was well known to us, so ticked all the boxes. Its a West End of a city and right in the middle with easy access to Byers Roadm great Western Road,m kelvingrove and Park, Botancis etc., Recommend3d locatin for tourists.

the apartment is extremely modern and well equipped, extremely clean and fabulous location. The host was also great in terms of communication.

the parking was a bit tight to access and a little messy to look at, however, it was great to have off street parking and our car was safe all weekend.

Very clean and well kept. Lovely and modern. Fantastic location.

Only minor complaint was poor WiFi connection.
