Stratum's Apartment 2 No Kitchen Jean-Michels Place

Beds were comfortable, nice spacious shower, decent location just outside the city center line so parking on the street was free.

Coffee machine wasn't working, it scrunched up the capsules and didn't give us coffee. Lack of storage in the bathroom was frustrating (some hooks and shelves would be a great addition). Bathroom sink clogs up very quickly. Only window that opens was in the living room but it's by the front building door, so not good for leaving opened overnight. Noise from the street is quite intense as well as the apartment windows face the main street.

Airconditionings are available.

The reason to choose this place was the airco's. They did not work. After an hour I got contact with the advice on how to get it to work again: standing on the roof on a chair and switching it off and on again by improvising using the tube of vacuum cleaner. The next day, the airco's had another error, and I had to do the same thing three times over again to get it to work. The plates and utensils in the kitchen we had to wash since they were still wet and dirty. The switch of the upstairs light is only downstairs, reached by incredibly steep and high stairs. In front of the apartment door, the stairs are of the same dangerous type, Here there was no working light available. Dangerous! The toilet flush button, the flow of the bathroom sink, and the power plug near the ironing board are defective to not working. The images on booking.com give a fake  view of how everything is sorted and looking and situated, like how basic the kitchen is. This is only a part of the bad points of this place. We need another night, luckily we had to find also found another cheaper and better place (worse wasn't really possible).

Heel goed bed. Fijne douche.

Vuil. Slechte bank om op te slapen. Chemisch geurtje.
