Excellent apartment right on the camino route. Well equipped, clean, spacious, responsive host.

It was a Saturday night and the square below the apartment seemed to be a meeting place for local young people..they were noisy till 5.30 am. I was tired from walking the camino and slept through it so it wasn't a problem

"A Room with a View"

10.0

The apartment was so cute! Restored property right in the heart of the old town. A little Juliette balcony stretched from the living room to the bedroom with views that let you see the beautiful old buildings and the Lerez River. The house was clean, the bathroom was good, and the location was right on the Camino. The host was very responsive when I contacted her. It's a one-bedroom, but the sofa folds out to a nice second bed. There were cookies on the table (which I hope were for us because they were delicious) and a big bottle of water in the fridge. Be sure to check the WhatsApp message for details before you arrive.

The apartment was in the middle of the action (we were there on a Saturday night). This is good for access to restaurants and shops (it is located directly over a bar/cafe). But because locals enjoy their nightlife, especially on the weekend, it was not the quietest location for sleeping. But that may apply to all properties in this area.

A gem of a find. We liked it so much we extended our stay. Restaurants, groceries and laundry all within 5 minutes.

We had to leave and continue the Camino.

"Comfortable apartment stay close to the Cathedral and Museum and Portuguese Camino"

9.0

Excellent location, very close to the cathedral and museum and directly on the Portuguese Camino as you head out of town. The croissants are a lovely touch. The apartment has two balconies that provide a great street view. All in all a very comfortable apartment to spend a couple of days. It was wonderful to be able to use the washing machine, but should there not be a rack to hang wet clothing?

It was a bit of a struggle gaining access to the apartment which resulted in an amount of stress for us after a big day walking the Camino in very difficult conditions. We found the general area easily enough, but we had to approach local shops in the area ( one multiple times) trying to figure out the exact location of the door we were supposed to be entering. Even once found , we were not totally convinced as the door would not open. We had to contact the property a number of times all while standing in the driving rain before the door finally allowed us to enter. Once inside it was easy enough to obtain the key from the lock box.
