Rb42 - Charming & Historic House

The house is excellent with everything you would expect from your own home.

There was nothing to dislike.

The location was perfect for exploring both Rabat and Mdina within walking distance to just about everything. The house was incredibly unique and well restored with so many small details that really need to be seen to appreciate. We had everything we needed, including dish washer, washing machine and dryer. The beds were comfortable with lovely linen that made for an excellent nights sleep. Kitchen was well equiped if you wanted to dine in but also so many great restaurants near by to choose from.

We knew about the stairs before we arrived - these made for a great workout but are definitely not for those with mobility issues as outlined in the description. It would be nice to have some furniture in the bottom area to sit together on a hot day. Also if you enter the address in google maps it will take you to the wrong address. Make sure to use the coordinates sent by the host.

The location in the heart of Rabat was absolutely fantastic. The house itself was lovely, full of charming features that made our stay extra special. The stairs gave us a daily workout—perfect preparation for indulging in another delicious Maltese pastry! It was an easy stroll to Mdina, and we enjoyed most of our meals on the balcony, soaking in the wonderful views. There were plenty of cosy coffee shops nearby and even a 24-hour bakery for late-night cravings.

Wish that we could stay longer.

Questa è stata la casa più bella in cui abbia mai soggiornato all’estero e viaggio parecchio… Tradizionale e originale al tempo stesso, ristrutturata con cura e gusto, offre tutto il necessario per un soggiorno anche lungo. L’atmosfera è incredibile, l’abbiamo adorata.

Le piccole scomodità legate alle scale passano in secondo piano rispetto all’esperienza complessiva.

Sehr schön hergerichtetes altes Haus. Es gibt mehrere Zimmer die entlang einer Treppe in der Mitte des Hauses gruppiert sind die Lage ist ideal um Rabatt und Mdina zu erkunden.

Man muss viel Treppen steigen. 😜

Posizione molto centrale e parcheggi non a pagamento sempre disponibili. Lo stile e l'arredo dell'appartamento è tipico della zona, piacevole la sera frescheggiare sul tetto attrezzato con tavoli e sedie.

l'aria condizionata è presente solo nel reparto notte. La zona giorno ha dei ventilatori. Il piano terra necessita di ricambio d'aria costante in quanto è presente odore di umido: è necessario tenere la porta di ingresso aperta ogni tanto. Aggiungerei un paio di forbici da cucina.

The house has been beautifully renovated to provide an airy, light and welcoming property. It is centrally situated in the town and it provides lots of space to spread out and has really effective aircon. Very quick and helpful responses to any messages sent to the property. I would definitely recommend the house but if you have mobility issues then there are lots of stairs to negotiate.

The house was what we had expected. The only thing we thought was missing was some sort of canopy or parasol for the roof terrace. It was such a fabulous space but only really accessible first thing in the morning or late afternoon onwards, as the sun was so strong.

Good location, clean and tidy

It did mention in the description that there were stairs but I thought they were to the roof as it showed photo of roof and naturally stairs to that area,not stairs to every room in the house. 7 flights of stairs 45 steps in all. I would not have booked that house had I have known It’s more suitable for young people

The location was good. Walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. A quaint village with a lot of history.
